The Chinese
Language Teachers
Association
Washington State, formerly
CLTN,
was formed in May 2009.
- About CLTA-WA -
learn about the Chinese Language Teachers
Network, its mission, board of directors, and its
involvement with the
Washington State Coalition for
International Education.
- Meetings -
CLTA-WA regularly hosts two meetings. The spring meeting
(March) is held in Seattle; the fall
meeting (September) is usually in Tacoma.
- Workshops
- CLTA-WA offers workshops and training sessions for
local teachers, schools, and interested parents and individuals from the
community. Past workshop presenters include experienced
local teachers and prominent experts in the fields.

director of
the National
Foreign
Language
Center at
the
University
of Maryland.
She is a
leading
world
language
educator,
teacher
trainer, and
program
advisor.
The workshop
will be
conducted in
English and
applies to
ALL K-12 /16
language
teachers. We
welcome and
encourage
teachers of
all world
languages to
attend this
workshop.
